So you're planning to do Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day? I wish you good luck and here are some tips that may help you since this is the busiest day at Magic Kingdom.
1.Get there as early as possible. The park hits capacity every year on christmas day which means they stop letting people in.
2.If you are planning on where to stay on your trip you might need to stay on site at Disney World. They have extra magic hours for hotel guests which help that whole christmas and new years week for guaranteeing that you get into the park.
3.If you are lucky enough to make it into the park before they put a hold on the gate make sure you keep an eye out for fast passes. People will end up cancelling their fast passes if they can't get into the park.
4.That also goes for dining reservations. If people can't get into the park and have made their lunch and dinner reservations they could cancel them or move them to another day. Which means time slots could open in for those hard to get places like Be Our Guest.
5. In case you were not aware the parade they do on tv every year is actually pre-recorded in November. Do not expect to see the taping of it while you are there on Christmas Day. However, they will do that Parade during the day on Christmas.
Hopefully these tips help you with your day or maybe change your mind about going on Christmas Day. All four parks at Walt Disney World Resort will be doing Christmas Festivities. I honestly recommend doing one of the other parks over Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day. pcot has a great holiday food festival, Animal Kingdom has decorations and activities for the christmas this year, and Hollywood Studios has Flurries of Fun with the Jingle Bell Jingle BAM firework show.
Love Always,
